Cornfields looking like that last year around this time in my area made 240 bu in 2016. If the stands are there the crop is rooting down and the N is not moving. It's pretty early to say definitively that we are headed for less than trend IMO. Yes, we will need several things to go right going forward, but those things can also happen. Thanks for the update from your travels.
