North Central Illinois | Good post. I'm not saying this thing can't still run at some point but we have a lot of old corn to chew through which will keep a lid on old crop. New crop has a chance if things continue dry. The 6 to 10 and 8 to 14 are cool and normal precip east of the Mississippi. Not bullish but not real bearish considering how dry it is getting in places. We may very well see $5 corn but it is a few months off yet. A guy on the other sight was calling for $5 corn by the end of June a few days ago. Today he is throwing up his arms and claiming the whole thing is rigged and we will have to wait for the combines to roll for the truth to come out. | |
