Y'all can thank me for the rain. We spent all yesterday rebuilding a small pole shed for hay storage. We had 300 small squares on the ground last night, and with no rain in the forecast decided we were too tired to put it up after supper. We probably got a half inch or better this morning. I guess for what it will do for my corn I'll call it even...
Ha! It's that scenario more often than not. No rain in forecast with hay down and some excuse not to finish (Church, kids game/activity, funeral, etc.) Then you wake up to the sound of pitter patter and wish you had seen the job through.
When we milked cows hay was the number 1 priority. Now the excuses seem to be. |
