Subject: RE: Weather forecast

NE SD
Our chances of rain have DECREASED here in eastern SD from a few chances in the next 10 days to where now its only a decent chance of small amounts (less than .5 inches total) today and tomorrow morning then nothing through 6-21. Temps are moderate with highs in the mid 80's which is perfect IMO for here where we have adequate subsoil and just got .5 to 1 inch. Just illustrates how forecasts flip flopped around and probably will again. Interesting that after flip flopping all weekend several times the current forecast is about what was forecasted on Friday. At any rate no drought busting rains for the majority of the Dakotas it seems. At some point the market has to price in hot and drye and realize some of this yield isn't coming back we need at least the beans in the Dakota's. I think gulke says 13 mil acres of soybeans grown in the Dakota's? That should matter at some point unless everywhere else catches up with moisture and crop ratings improve. This seem like typical July/august weather patterns where a slight chance could turn into a good soaker or a very good chance may turn into nothing at all.
