Subject: NE crops dry too

Nebraska
I know the guys in the Dakotas are hurting & needing rain, but after over 3 weeks of above normal temps & 25 mph winds all the time we could really use some rain. A lot of pivots started over the weekend here, but the last several years the dry land crops have been above aph for most of the state, & without some moisture soon it will be hard to get to Aph.

Talked to some neighbors last night at a retirement party and most of the comments were the same, probably the most uneven looking crops around here in a long time. Best crops were early planted, but the later plantings look thin and uneven. Both corn & beans. Also the pastures here have really went backward with this 90+ degree heat & wind.

Hoping all of us out west here catch a rain this week.
