The powers that be have kept all the balls in the air so far. They may well be able to do it for a few more years. Everything will go along till it doesn't. The powers that be likely will not announce any panic in advance, although they probably will have more notice than we peons. Their actions before any catastrophe likely will be a better indicator than anything they would say.
