EC SoDak | Crops look pretty good. Low areas lost stand from the cold combined with sitting water. Then the spicket shut off and got hot/windy so the light areas on hilltops took a little beating. We lucked out and they took our highs from mid 90s to mid 80s today, so I feel fortunate, SuFu was supposed to still get near 100 today and we are 45 miles north of them. The chances shown below will change a million times until it does or doesn't happen. I've found with this app it normally means "doesn't." But we will see, an nice inch of rain and things will look even better than they do now. We normally align more with SW MN than SoDak with weather and yields. I'm optimistic so far....
