Nebraska aka the boondocks | To be honest I am not sure what to make of this. Is this a trench warfare where we are grinding to get 20 cents, it has felt that way. If I knew the top was another twenty I wouldn't feel bad about pushing all my chips in at plus 10. On the other hand I think there is a sense about that this whole crop could slip on a banana peel, then what? From every forecast I see we are going to have a mid summer heat wave for two weeks... does that mean the actual summer heatwave will be like they used to be with spurts of 100 plus. As I recall from 09 and 14 no days over 95 all year here. Additionally this crop is two to three weeks behind, which will push pollination into some uncharted territory for many. Personally I think I will play for a double or triple, I don't want January to come and kick myself, so as others have said increment selling sounds like a very good idea, in time and price. |
