novaman - 6/9/2017 09:47 I've never used coveredge wrap but have been told it is not the way to go. The edges of the bales aren't nice and square so water pools between bales and soaks in. Also heard it's a pain to get off when frozen. Interesting. I try to leave a few inches gap between bales based on a suggestion from a long time dairy man I used to buy hay from. He says it lets the bales breathe. All net wrap is a pain to get off when frozen, is this worse? I'll try to feed the outside stored bales first, then go to the shedded bales. I like the way it holds the bales together. In these huge fluffy windrows, the bales filled up so quickly I had trouble stopping quick enough once it hit the diameter setting. I had some get extra hay while wrapping. Once I figured out to watch and stop and inch or two diameter earlier it worked very well. Only a couple rolled downhill into the fence... ;-)
