Chebanse, IL.....

Ted,

The new one from WM works fine w/my flashdrive (aka jumpdrive). Thus far I've only used a 128 stick, but I have a larger one to try yet. I'll report then also.

A couple of comments

I'm not sure of the value of the screen for me..it's pretty small. Assuming it's in a moving vehicle, you have to be pretty close to read it...even w/"cheater glasses". But-it's kind of neat to see song/singer info scrolling by.

I think they need a little more "pre-amp" or something. Maybe it's just my vehicles. But- I have to crank volume up in FM receiving radio fairly hi to listen to modulator, even w/modulator volume up. Again-maybe it's just my setups. I noticed this in earlier modulator also. The major problem with this is when you shift back to AM or FM radio for listening. It's now blaring.

But again-this technology is wonderful. Can anyone tell my why we don't have a built in radio that we can  just stick a flash drive (jump drive) into??? I can burn cds/dvds with the best of them, but there's nothing faster than downloading to a flash drive. If you don't like it, you can add/remove songs that night. Why don't the mfg offer such a playback source???
