Ne Nebraska | I cut using 956 moco laying down widest swath I can drive over. Let lay till almost all cured out, usually 3-5 days depending on weather, how heavy of swath, etc. Then rake the next morning when it is good and tough yet. Let it lay they day and bale that evening/night once it gets tough again (usually as it approaches 60% humidity is when I start to bale). I've found watching humidity is best way to know when approximately i should be going. | |
