sw ks

We are not trying to out brag the dry,  but here in swks we had some farms with less than 1.5 inches of rain, for over a year.   We had 12 bu wheat in 12,  had to cut some of the corn, 7 to 9 bu.  Most milo made in the 30 to 40 bu per acre.   Then in 13 we didn't have subsoil moisture.   We planted some corn deeper than the moisture band and ran with the moisture during the season.  We did have some 45 to 50 bu corn.   Now we are so wet we are having a hard time getting the corn and sorghum planted.   In other words there is a lot of problems out there.   Hope for the best for you,  mother nature can humble us.
