I don't think 2nd crop is insurable. Don't quote me on that. Would also assume that any wheat that is hayed would receive a reduction in insurance payment.
Can insure second crop and either take reduced coverage on the first or second, whichever you prefer. Happens a lot out here on the fringe. Guys out in that Pierre country know all about second crop rules. Sucks, that's for sure, I'm not even sure if it rained an inch a week they would have much. |
