Ask yourself, when corn was $6 per bushel, what was the price of beef & pork? Now that the price of grain is cheap, what's the price of beef & pork? As far as ethanol goes, ask yourself, what does the price of gasoline do when the price of oil goes up? Now what happens if the price of ethanol goes up? Either the blenders pay more or switch to another octane/oxygenate. |
