I think some of those soils say upto 10% rock. Either it's all been picked or a great majority of it doesn't have much rock. But then again I suppose if you've never seen a rock it's different:)
I know there is some aastad clay loam as its own series in minnesota around Montevideo and along there and it carries a 100 productivity index. I have aastad and digging around in that stuff it really makes wonder what we could do with 15" rain a summer and some more tile...and heat...and cool when we need it:)
