1983 started out wet.. late spring snows.. then flipped to hot and dry.. this year reminds me of that year.. I remember it well as I graduated from HS that year.

We have better hybrids today but we lost production that year to heat during pollination.  Wasn't it TStormWX on Chipsters Market Rally that used 1983 as a comparable year?

It would fit with the late summer rally meme that many are bantering around.  We've got corn that is just emerging.. plus replants still to go.. hoping to get pollination post heat.. but...???
