We won't know a whole lot about long range forecasts until tomorrow. Long range forecasts bounce all around on weekends due less human interpretation. Right now the weekend forecasts have gone hot and dry for most of the cornbelt. If that doesn't flip to cool and dry or warm and wet on Monday then I think you have the makings of a story.
