In 2012 we planted beans early may, July 4 they were less than 6inches tall. Less than half inch of rain, close to 20 days over 100 degreeso with lots of wind. Not sure how they were still alive. Caught a couple rains, early varieties made 30 to 40, fuller season were all 40 to 50 bpa. If they are alive and it isn't middletting of july they still have a chance.
