Se wisc. | Owning and investing in land for the purpose of returns by non farm money does nothing for sustainability for the industry. Not saying it should not be allowed but should be regulated. Same with tech fees. Investors and industries that take larger margins then the risk takers can inflate cost of production rather easy. This has forced us to attempt to grow our own seed, not hire any custom labor and rethink iron inventory. All good things but comes at a human cost. More time away from family for less economic gain. Not complaining just trying to add perspective. | |
