95% corn with some spotting in to do if it dries up and beans are maybe 30% locally. Corn stands for the most part look good there are some fields that are really uneven but it's only a few. Early planted beans may need to be planted again has the stands are thin. I am 100% on corn and 0% on beans
Just got back from a 500 mile trip out to Gettysburg. Usually take 90 out and go north at Kimball, but because of heavy load of equipment I was hauling and wanting to avoid weigh station issues, I went north to Watertown and took 20 west to Hoven. The best looking corn I saw on the whole trip was on that stretch of hwy 20. If you're a grain farmer, that area an hour west of Watertown will make you drool. It does for me anyway.
