Hillclimber, I think I have an idea of where your at in SW WI, I use that for my location also even though we're a little ways away from each other.

You talk about parking the planter on the 14th, same for me, and up until that point I thought we weren't "terrible" around here, that other places around the country had it worse. Now, I think we're getting our turn at the crappy weather. Like you said, wet, no wind no sunshine, just don't want to dry at all.

I just made a comment the other day to my wife that the last 9 months have been so terribly overcast. I need some sunshine to perk up my mood....not just for planting.


Hopefully, starting tomorrow we can get back to it again. My bar tab is formidable.
Glad I'm not milking cows anymore as it is time to make hay now on top of delayed planting.
Neighbor tried chopping half full wagons today and still cut some deep ruts. Now he gets to live with them for 2 years.
