blah blah blah, put a fork in it the crop is toast, never make trendline, etc etc.

It used to be common knowledge that the crop gets killed off 3 to 4 times each season and most dismissed the hype. Every so often a story would get some traction and prices would move in response (or maybe for another reason, but they moved). Those were times to sell unless you always think it will go another $1 higher. Even in 2012 we raised a large crop and never ran out. Admittedly high prices did their job of getting folks to seek other sources (folks have to eat, but don't have to eat as much, pigs can eat other things, etc).

I'm not trying to be a buzz kill, but we have big issues every year and we are very very good at producing a crop. Now if we eventually centralize farming, the story might become real.

I agree Pat. These guys that think this is crying wolf should put their money where their mouth is. Buy some puts maybe. This year is different. No way ILL makes 200. 170 might be a good guess right now.
