It seems that the overwhelming consensus is that farm subsidies do more harm than good and should all be eliminated. That thinking is in complete agreement with trump's policies. If anything, his policies don't go far enough.
If that's the case, I think we should get up a petition in support of complete elimination of all farm programs and send it on to trump. He can use it to bolster his argument with Congress.
So, maybe everybody, even all those "lurkers" should post below agreeing to go cold turkey on all farm programs, show the country how it's done, put your money where your mouth is (well, their money actually) and do the right thing.
I'm only partially joking here. It seems to me that there comes a time to stop talking and take action. If people are really that unhappy then we should exercise that First Amendment right to petition the Government.
