Subject: RE: They need to hear the D word

North Central Illinois
With good reason too. How many of the past four years have we heard all spring long about all the rain and planting issues? Probably every one of those years and yet we raised huge crops. My area is struggling more this year than in years past but I am realistic enough to know that there are other areas that are probably a lot better. Just like the past four years when we got everything planted and it looked great, there were many areas that were struggling mightily and had serious issues. Yet we raised big crops. It isn't hard to see why traders are a little reluctant to throw a lot of premium into this market just yet. Throw in the D word on top of a wet spring and then we will have something to talk about. Right now we have issues but need to keep an open mind and see what the next few weeks or months bring.
