 Cedar Rapids, Iowa | WAAS has this fun little characteristic where you'll occasionally see an instant 12+ inch position shift. An autosteer system will notice that it's not on the AB line and will try to get back onto the line. That means a pretty agressive steering movement. On a front wheel assist tractor, it's annoying. In an articulated tractor it will darn near throw you out of the seat sideways. Rangepoint doesn't have large fast position shifts like that. It still drifts, but much more "smoothly" than WAAS. | |
