I like the concept but I think your gonna need to make that 2" x 4" across the front a little more torsion resistant. I usually go way overboard to the point of wasting time but I would double down on the gussets on the drum to crimper lugs also. I would like to make something like that to pin straw to the ground for establishing grass waterways.
