I'm frustrated to admit that dispite being on our fourth season using an ATU 200 on a 2WD 4455 I haven't found a combination of settings that makes it perform as well as it did when mounted on our 8320 MFWD. I suspect part of the challenge is the short distance the JD mounting bracket places the Starfire receiver ahead of the rear axle. I recall seeing someone on NAT posting a custom mounting that placed the receiver at the front of the Soundgard cab like the newer tractors, but I didn't save the post.
