I put 2- 12 volt batteries in both my 4240 & 4050 and i love it, I ran separate pos. cable from each battery to the starter and it spins over like a champ! even on cold days near Fargo ND. the dealers old Mechanic told me about that & i doubted him. but both cables coming to the starter seems to make a difference when it counts.
