the two 6 volt batteries are hooked up in series so it is already a 12 volt system so you just have to hook up starter cable to pos post and neg post to ground on your 12 volt battery. If you look at how the 6 volt batteries ar hooked up starter cable goes to left battery pos post.left battery neg post goes to right battery pos post and right battery neg post goes to ground giving you 12 volts.
