I would say your not comparing Apple to apples with the the bull pull and the traditional style. Bull pull has advantages in my eyes over the traditional.
Sorry no help with correct name for the traditional style hitch.
Not sure if black ace/terog dealers would be less then Deere but here's one of their dealers to check.
What are these pintle type implement hitches called ?
