Subject: RE: Another Grease Question... Certified Labs

I switched to Certified Red #2 and the Green #1 in winter. It was the only grease I've found that doesn't pound out in loader applications. We have a company here local that owns a pumice mine, that deals world wide in their product they mine. They also own a NAPA store and repair shop. They went to Certified grease as it worked better for them and any other greases they tried. That is who I buy from. I used to buy all Chevron greases from my local jobber, but their red #2 would pound out by noon in loaders. Using Certified has cut my grease usage by more than half, by the price is double what I paid for Chevron.

I gave a few tube to a custom fence builder that used a Deere tracked skid loader with dozer blade to push fence lines. He complained about his loader arms always chattering when he used Chevron Red same as me. He was impressed with the Certified Red #2 as his arms quit chattering when pushing hard.

It's working for us, been on their grease for everything now for close to 4 years I'm thinking no problems. I never had much problems with plugged zerks in past, but no problems with this new product. Once we switched everything over to Certified I've never had to clean any zerks, they have seemed to stay clear and pump.

They also have pretranting oil called FREE, it is good stuff, like KROIL but doesn't stink.
