The man lost his wife and now his father, and they want to remind him about his faith in the supposed ever loving god? that's sort of rubbing his face in it is it not? Mysterious ways alright.
From the human point of view, I agree it is not easy to understand. But time will tell eventually for each who was "playing make believe" and who wasn't.
Is it possible that the "supposed ever loving god" is not responsible for the tragedies/grief/evil of this life in this world at this time......? But that he (God of Bible) has provided a solution to them. Please do not rule out that possibility! |
