The heifer calf group is enjoying the way the grass is growing in this cool damp weather. I'm trying to get these future cows into the calm rhythm of the wire moves and to look forward to me moving the wire. In a couple weeks I'll put them back in with some cows that have calved after the last calf is on the ground. This is the first wire move of the year, sort of a milestone each spring. This sloping ground is very wet/saturated under all that green, but looks like some sun forecast for the next few days although frost warnings for tonight.
