| I've had a few act like that that were caused by the load check plunger breaking. If you look at the rear bottom of the valve( just in front of the coupler assembly), you will see what looks like two 15/16" or 1" nuts screwed together-that's the load check. Screw that out of the valve body. A small plunger that consists of a pin about 1 1/2" long and a small washer should fall out of there in one piece from the valve itself. See if the plunger is broken, which is common. When it happens, the load check can't release, causing the pressure to build, but no oil to flow back into the valve from the remote. Good luck... | |
