I really don't think winter was all that great, warmed up twice and screwed up all the winter activities and that crap weather has just hung around.  How many actual nice days have we had this spring?  I can't count too many, everyday it tries to shine up the gale force wind has to blow and its cold out again.  We had about 6 tenths on Monday night-Tuesday.  Wheat still left to plant, our ditches were dry but the frost was still coming out of the rest of the field so we waited, now its all wet but at least now the frost should be gone when it does dry back out.  I know of some corn that went in last week on old beet ground not too far from us.  Its been cold, the last remainder of snow only left 2 weeks ago, north side tree lines.  We froze up wet last fall and needed no rain until late may here.
