Subject: RE: JD 2600 Rate Controller w/ DJ valve & New Topcon RTK Steering (Pics)

Canyon, TX

Yes ,the 2600 GS2 Rate Controller will work great with the DJ AA setups, we hooked up two in January for a customer, we built the cables ourselves, it is kind of time consuming building the cables, but both units are working great, got the pinouts from the 37 pin connector on the GS2 Rate controller to the DJ Valve and flowmeter by contacting Rich Killam @ Illinois Family Farms.Believe CB just posted the link to the ealier posts.

Have them working on CAT MT835B's strip tilling with the new Topcon AGI-3/ System 150's RTK steering the tractors, and the GS2 2600 doing rate control using Nema out of the Topcon AGI-3, the customer already had the 2600's so it made the most sense to use them instead of an X20, since I know others will be asking why not use the X20.

By using the 2600 GS2 rate controller we eliminated the DJ CCS monitors, and are down to just 2 monitors in the cab, the GX45 for the Topcon Steering, and the 2600 GS2 for the rate control for Anhydrous, and Liquid Fert. and at planting for the DB80' planter monitor along with using the 2600 as a Virtual Terminal to run the Reichhardt Hitch steering on the CAT MT's the next stage of this project to gain better seed palcement in the strip till passes with the DB80' 48 row on 20"
