I am just guessing but I think you're wrong. Several done planting corn for several counties around me. Some are like me in that we may plant another field to two after this weeks rain.

I can easily name 10 farmers with 16 row planters that only plant 400 acres of corn. It is ridiculous in my opinion........but that 1 1/2 days they can act like they are hard working fellows.

Full disclosure: I have not been up north this spring but not once in my life have I ever traveled to central Illinois and seen corn behind our in SEIL. Most of the time the corn is tasseling on the fourth of July in Springfield, Peoria, Decatur, Champaign and Danville. This year will be no different.
