Neat info thanks for posting. Looks like that central/north central IL seems to be at the top of the list. Planting delays could cause issues, but as far a hot dry spell doing a lot of damage....good luck there is a reason that is 12k+ dirt.
I farm in 4 counties on that list and all have had $12000 dirt sell in them. Might want to pull up county yields for 2012 and see how much hot and dry can pull down yields. Our 2012 average was just about 1/3 of 2016 yield. |
