I vote for letting it grow 10 days to 2 weeks, hit it with heavy rate or Roundup, wait 36 hours, cut it, bale it, and chase the baler with the planter. You get a better kill spraying before you cut then if you wait and spray the regrowth. It is a labeled use of Roundup.
