I've done some a day or two in front of the planter, make sure you get the seed good and covered. never had any trouble until last year, Friday afternoon had it sprayed and then planted it that night, had 2 inches of rain on it Saturday morning, had to replant it, anywhere water set it didn't come up. take your chances! GOOD LUCK
