Better check clearance carefully. I think there was a change in shank height somewhere in the 1600-1610-610-2400-2410 progression in Deere chisels. I doubt a 1600 will clear what your White does.

There was a time when 26" vertical clearance from the frame to the tip of the chisel point was more or less standard in wheat country. That gradually increased over the years, and 32" is now fairly common.

I'm working from memory on this, so???
