PCFarm - 4/11/2017 23:10 s. I can plant 2 inches +, I know ideal is 1.5 inches for corn.

Actually, I think ALL corn should be planted at least 2 1/4 - 2 1/2" deep....and even 2 3/4". I plant my straight No-till corn the same. With cover crops though.... you have to allow for more depth due to the extra residue the gauge wheels are riding on.
