CNYF. Can I suggest that if you were willing to put the Trimble radio bridge in your truck and drive it around your fields, that a portable base-station like the mojo base would be no more inconvenient... in fact I would guess it would be a lot more convenient. The mojo base takes less than 3 minutes to fix to RTK accuracy.

However, you currently only have one option for using the NY CORS with your GS2... a mojoRTK console with the CORS upgrade - this will be cheaper than a Deere RTK upgrade for your GS2 plus a Deere base station.

The other non-CORS option for mojoRTK involves setting your mojoRTK base up as a personal single point CORS. Separate the antenna from the bottom of the base and run the 900Mhz antenna up a grain leg or something tall. You will need a baseline upgrade. Note as line of sight is your biggest issue make sure your terrain is suitable for this type of setup.

Leica has the 8n8 guarantee so if you don't like what you have bought you can return it no questions asked within 8 days, with less than 8 hours of engaged autosteer.

Call Jake in Denver and he can explain things in detail.

Cheers

John
