Wife says we should buy a $400 Home Depot top load special.
I say we should buy a speed queen knob style $900.
I doubt a $400 one from hd would last half as long as a speed queen.

If the $400 one lasts half as long you could buy two of them for $100 less than the $900 one and you would only have to pay $400 now and the rest down the road when it craps out.
My wife uses the washer and dryer. We buy whichever ones she wants. She doesn't tell me what tools to buy so I don't tell here what washer and dryer or kitchen appliances to buy.
Personally it would make me happy if she wanted the cheaper one.
