Dave,

Laudis can be used on any type of corn, even sweet corn. Safe product to use on corn.

If you don't have Fall Panicum , could get along fine with 3oz Laudis and Atrazine. We have Fall Panicum here, so will run Ignite with the Laudis. Laudis will give residual, along with help the performance of Ignite in killing weeds. One of my concerns with Ignite ( Liberty) is the poor performance that first time users of Liberty may have, when they have been used to spraying Glyphosate..... Spraying Ignite on a cloudy cool day, may cause less than desired results. Adding Laudis to the spray mix should beef up the performance of Ignite in this type of situation.

Next year Bayer will have a new post corn chemical called Capreno ( Laudis and the new grass compound in Corvus). Capreno will control Fall panicum as well as beef up the grass part of Laudis, and will provide residual also. This chemical can be used on NGMO corn.. If a guy doesn't have FP, use Laudis post, need FP control use Capreno post.

Bayer is one company that is introducing new weapons to control weeds in corn. 2008...Laudis..... 2009 Balance Flex and Corvus........2010 Capreno.
