To clarify. Leica has not reverse engineered anyone's software.
The Deere starfire 'position messages' are freely visible on the implement CAN bus. You can buy a CAN analyzer and look at them. What Leica has done is merely look at the Starfire messages and figured out what format the position is transmitted from the Receiver to the equipment on the CAN bus that is looking for that position message. When the Starfire is not there, the mojoRTK supplies the messages in the format needed. No software has been touched in this process.
This is not illegal.
