If I were you, I'd concentrate on getting good yield data. If you have even three years of data, that will be your best bet in VR.
Veris (EC) measures "something" that is supposed to a proxy for yield...but a lot seems to ride on interpretation and local conditions and how long since the last rain, etc. I'd take it with a grain of salt (which also throws off readings) around "here," though I suspect it has its place out west.
