My guess is you are asking if you can take an indoor forklift and put air tires on it. I have seen a couple hack jobs over the years and they got it done, but man was it ugly
'Indoor' lifts are designed with 3" clearance to the ground, 'Outdoor' lifts are designed with 5 and also have way more space in the wheel well for bigger tires. The final drive ratio on 98% of lifts are different as well. It would be like driving a semi that is stuck on the high side.
Just a few weeks back I took a smooth tire indoor and had new tires installed, same size, but a treaded tire. That helps some. Helps more when original tires are worn down an inch or 2. | |
