Looks like a decent width bucket on the excavator and you would have to move a lot of dirt to dig the plow and tractor down further. If you have the reach with the plow for grade now, it wouldn't take a lot of digging to make it that you only plow a couple feet of dirt, your quad could straddle it and likely pull it. Might be a lot easier than trying to pull in that wet ground with a pull tractor. Also easier if you happened to find a big stone and have to dig it out.
I understand why you want to lay the tile with the plow, it will be bedded better and much easier to hold grade, and I assume you are running it fairly flat. | |
