Subject: RE: Snap on tools

I have a lot od Snap on Tools and some of them are must have quality. Miles ahead of Craftsman or other store brands in chrome sockets and ratchets. Other items like wrenches, I have never broken and Craftsman serve me fine.
I remember years ago buying an expensive pair of Snap On pliers and within 6 weeks, they drove out the door when I left them in a car. I bought a cheap pair of Sears pliers and had them for better than 15 years.
Sometimes the high end stuff does not pay.
I do buy off Ebay at times and my dealer does service and warranty them but I have done business with him for 28 years. Convenience is the biggest reason I buy Snap On as he comes to the shop every Wednesday.
